SARASOTA, FL. – December 16, 2016 – 1:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, December 13, 2016, members of the Sarasota Police Department Street Crimes Unit, with the assistance of the Narcotics Unit and Patrol Division, conducted an undercover prostitution operation targeting individuals soliciting prostitutes.
The operation was conducted in the 4700 block of North Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Seven (7) men were arrested and charged with Solicitation of Prostitution. Five vehicles were seized under City Code 33-271.
